register / node
Two voices, one physics, one difference: the self-term. Press and hold either side to drive it. The register only ever gets louder — its width never moves, and when you let go it always falls silent. The node thickens as it loudens, and driven hard enough it keeps sounding after you release. It has committed; only damping brings it back.
A sound piece: runs in its own frame, nothing loads until you click, and audio starts on its own begin button. Height is pitch, width is how much of it is sounding. Part of the epg work.
